Dr Maggie Simpson MD, MSc, FACRRM.

After moving to Yamba from The Netherlands, Dr Simpson joined Clarence Medical Centre in 2012.

Dr Simpson is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that she has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.

Her special interests include skin cancer medicine and women’s health. Dr Simpson is also the centre's cosmetic specialist, offering cosmetic injectable treatments.

Dr Simpson speaks English & Dutch.

Dr Eric Davey MD, MSPH, FACRRM

Dr Davey joined us from America in 2012. His special interests include Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and family health.

Dr Davey speaks English, Spanish, French, and Moroccan Arabic.

Dr Jess Ralston

Dr Ralston grew up in the local area & is a former paramedic.

After completing her medical studies in 2014 & then specialist GP training in 2019 she decided to return to the area to be closer to her family as she raises her own. She recently returned from maternity leave & is working part-time.

Dr. Ralston has special interests in women’s health/obstetrics, sexual health/contraception, children’s health & preventative medicine.

Dr Sally Gillespie

Dr Gillespie enjoys all aspects of general practice, as well as teaching both medical students and GP registrars.

Originally from Alstonville, Sally graduated from Griffith University School of Medicine in Queensland, followed by an internship at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney. She completed her GP training in Coffs Harbour and Grafton, obtaining her fellowship in 2018 and was awarded North Coast GP Registrar of the Year.

As a mum to a young son, Sally spends her spare time searching for clean clothes and vacuuming sand out of her car. In a previous life, she enjoyed trail running, surfing, and sleeping in.

Dr Jacob Miller

Dr Miller is a GP registrar originally from Queanbeyan and now calling Ballina home. He completed his residency at Lismore Base Hospital.

He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with interests in preventative health, musculoskeletal medicine, and lifestyle medicine. Dr Miller is passionate about supporting patients to achieve long-term health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, reading, and watching the footy with his dog Harley.

Dr Samuel Schuler

Dr Sam obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Queensland in 2022. He is strongly dedicated to rural medicine and preventative healthcare.

In his free time, he enjoys running, or spending days off of at the beach.
